• Glue and secure: Add a little wood glue or strong craft adhesive to the back, press it into place, and hold it with masking tape while it dries so it doesn’t shift.
• Paint: Once it’s set, paint with your chosen colour — Annie Sloan Chalk Paint or Fusion Mineral Paints both give that beautiful, soft matte finish.
